I wrote my first Processing script last Friday...
I don't know if I will have the time to learn how to use it, but the 3D engine makes me want to try.
For example, I could never do this in Flash...

Lisa - Processing is a pretty simple scripting language, made to do images, animations, and interaction - so a lot of graphics stuff is built in, and therefore easy!
It is made by nerds so you can have it for free...

But you can probably do all the graphics and programming you would ever want to in MATLAB!!!
