I recorded a version of an REM song, just for kicks. Due to my technical constraints and lack of good software, I was able to use ALL of the following in the making of one song:
Audacity
Goldwave
Ableton Live (demo version)
Sony Soundforge (demo version)
And CDEx, to mp3 it, for your listening pleasure...
Luckily, the original song is good enough to withstand my abuse.
